Access Systems and TekLnk's focus is customer service and support of
network systems, not training. However; we provide live remote access to our
internetworking lab which uses Cisco equipment via the Internet. With our lab, users are able to gain hands-on experience by using a real-world training environment, without making a significant investment in hardware or training. This experience will assist you in obtaining the necessary skills to design, build, maintain and upgrade
network systems.The lab provides access to actual networking equipment including routers and switches much in the same way as a live production system, not a software based simulated lab. Our lab environment includes a variety of vendor's hardware, various network media, protocols and server platforms.
Using a telnet session, users are granted console access to routers in the lab for a specified time based on a pay-per-block billing method. During this time, the user is free to configure the equipment as necessary to work toward achieving their lab goals. This serves as an excellent complement to Cisco curriculum, resource to network certification candidates, and for users who want to increase their level of Cisco competency. Users also have the ability to save and load configurations as needed in order to continue in a future session.
By taking advantage of the TekLnk LAB, users remove the cost of ownership by not having to invest in their own hardware. At the same time, users are afforded the ability to study from the comfort of their own home and pace, without worry of making changes on a mission-critical production network.
